The playground at Paradise Point Parklands, on the waterfront Esplanade, is being rebuilt into a new inclusive, wheelchair-accessible playground. It is the one site on this list currently under construction, which is exactly the kind of changing state a directory like this is built to keep current.
The new design includes a climbing frame and sphere, slides and tunnel features, plus accessible picnic areas and improved surfacing, following community consultation in 2023 and 2025.
Construction is scheduled from April to late 2026, so check the council project page for the latest timeline before planning a visit.

Packing for the playground?
Prams, carriers, balance bikes, scooters and outdoor gear cost a fortune new and get outgrown in a blink. Buy them pre-loved on Lhoop, then sell them on when the kids move up a size.
